Sharyn Rosart Named Academic Director for Publishing at NYU

Sharyn Rosart has been named publishing director at NYU. In this role she will serve as director of the MS in Publishing program and the NYU Summer Publishing Institute for some time. 

Rosart has more than 25 years of publishing experience. Most recently, she was the founding publisher of wellness imprint Spruce Books at Sasquatch/Penguin Random House, as well as a member of PRH's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team. Prior to that, she worked as client sales director at PRH Publisher Services, cofounder of Quirk Packaging, editorial director at Barnes & Noble Publishing, and editor at Friedman/Fairfax Books.
