Pushkin Press Partners with Ocean House Hotel on Promotional Sweepstakes

In conjunction with Pushkin Press, the publisher of new reissues of author and illustrator Ludwig Bemelmans's memoirs Hotel Splendide and To the One I Love the Best, Rhode Island luxury hotel Ocean House has launched a sweepstakes offering booksellers and their customers the chance to win a two-night stay in the hotel's new two-bedroom Bemelmans Suite.

The sweepstakes accompanies the opening not just of the suite but of a gallery collection owned by the hotel’s proprietors, Charles and Deborah Royce, and which includes original works, architectural commissions, illustrations of product campaigns, and illustrations from Bemelmans's Madeline series. It is the largest permanent, private collection of work by Bemelmans on public display in North America.

Copies of the new Pushkin editions of Bemelmans's books will be in Ocean House’s guest rooms, and U.S. booksellers and their customers have an opportunity to win a copy of each book plus a stay in the Ocean House Bemelmans Suite for two. Details can be found here.
