Robert Wojciechowski, Meredith Dros Up at Knopf
Robert Wojciechowski has been named senior v-p and director of production at Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group and the Penguin Publishing Group, and Meredith Dros has been named senior v-p and executive managing editor for the groups. Wojciechowski and Dros have been with Penguin for 32 and 25 years, respectively.
Both Wojciechowski and Dros report to Penguin Random House executive v-p Catharine Lynch. Newly reporting to Wojciechowski is Kristen Bearse, director of art and design for KDPG, with Claire Vaccaro, v-p and art director of interiors at PPG, continuing to report to him. As a result of the changes, Ellen Feldman, director of production editorial for KDPG, will report to Lynch.
The promotions follow the announcement of multiple retirements in KDPG's production and managing editorial departments, including those of Andy Hughes and Altie Karper. Wojciechowski and Dros will announced new leadership structures for the KDPG and PPG production and production editorial teams in the coming weeks, the publisher said.
