PRHGE Adds Spanish-Language Titles for Distribution
Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial (PRHGE) and Spanish-language Christian publisher Grupo Nivel Uno have agreed on an exclusive worldwide distribution deal that takes effect on February 1, 2024. At that time, PRHGE will take over the sales and distribution of Grupo Nivel Uno's two imprints, Editorial Nivel Uno and Casa Creación.
The distribution agreement "allows Grupo Nivel Uno to focus its energies and resources on further developing its publishing line," according to a press release. Further, PRHGE aims to leverages its presence in the Spanish book market "to bring these outstanding works to a wider audience," the press release says.
Casa Creación—Grupo Nivel Uno’s main imprint—focuses on the Spanish-speaking charismatic Christian church. Casa Creación publishes authors such as Joyce Meyer, John Eckhardt, Jonathan Cahn, Benny Hinn, and Robert Morris, as well as Hispanic authors including Lis Milland, Edwin Castro, and Rey Matos. The Editorial Nivel Uno imprint focuses on Christian living titles. Grupo Nivel Uno's books will be distributed alongside titles published under PRHGE’s 54 imprints, including ORIGEN, which focuses on Bibles and trade titles, such as those by bestselling authors Jennie Allen, Mark Batterson, Amir Tsarfati, and Shannon Bream.
“Given the rapid growth of our ORIGEN imprint, adding this distribution deal with Grupo Nivel Uno comes to complement our list at the perfect time,” Larry Downs, director and publisher for PRHGE’s ORIGEN imprint, said in a statement.
