PRH Reorganizes Sales Teams at Penguin, Knopf Doubleday Publishing Groups
Following the recent departure of Lauren Monaco, group sales director for the Penguin and Doubleday Publishing Groups, Penguin Random House has announced changes to the Penguin Publishing Group imprint sales team.
Andy Dudley has been promoted to v-p and group sales director for Penguin Publishing Group.
In his new role, he will report to PRH chief revenue officer Jaci Updike and will focus solely on Penguin Group imprints, leading sales strategy and developing cross-channel intiatives. Dudley joined Penguin in 2007 as an authors tour coordinator. In 2016, he was named imprint sales director for Avery Tarcher Perigee, Berkley, Dutton, and Putnam, and in 2019, he was promoted to v-p and imprint sales director for Penguin Press, Portfolio, Riverhead, Viking and Penguin Books. Newly reporting to Dudley are Jennifer Trzaska, v-p and imprint sales director, and Colleen Kuzbach, senior director of title management.
Kim Shannon has been promoted to executive v-p of adult retail and education and director of Knopf Doubleday sales strategy.
Shannon will continue to report to Jaci Updike. In her newly expanded role, Shannon Shannon will oversee sales objectives and initiatives for Knopf Doubleday in addition to her current responsibilities. She joined the company in 2003 selling Crown and Clarkson Potter to Borders and has held a variety of leadership positions including, most recently, senior v-p of adult retail and education sales. Orlene Gabrino, director of title management for Knopf Doubleday, will newly report to Shannon.
