Details of Hachette Replenishment Program Released

HBG released more details about its new shipping service for booksellers announced yesterday. The new rapid replenishment program will ensure that all orders received from independent retailers on Mondays by 3:00 PM ET will be entered, picked, packed and guaranteed to arrive no later than Friday of the same week. Orders placed Tuesday through Friday will be entered, picked and packed within 24 hours and shipped standard method. This includes orders received into the Hachette system via electronic ordering platforms like Edelweiss. Orders are subject to stock availability.

This program is specifically for Independent Retailers in good standing within the Continental 48 States, and normal small pack, stock availability and freight rules apply. In addition to all of the Hachette Book Group divisions, many of Hachette's clients are participating in HBG’s rapid replenishment program as well.
