The Novelry Online Creative Writing School to Expand into U.S.

U.K.–based online creative writing school the Novelry, which offers classes and coaching, will expand into the U.S. this year. 

For U.S. students, the Novelry will bring on authors and editors from the Big Five, including Tayari Jones and Tami Hoag, as guest instructors. Previous guest instructors in the U.K. have included Kristin Hannah, Paula Hawkins, and Yann Martel.

The Novelry was founded in 2017 by English author Louise Dean. Its expansion into the U.S. comes less than one year after Catapult's decision to shutter its writing classes program in February 2023.
