Mysterious Press to Publish Story Collection by Lee Child

A new short story collection by Lee Child, Safe Enough and Other Stories, will be published by the Mysterious Press, an imprint of Penzler Publishers, on September 6. The book was conceived and curated alongside Mysterious Press president Otto Penzler, collecting 20 stories by Child. Safe Enough is Child's first solo-authored book since 2021.
Mysterious Press is distributed by W.W. Norton. Safe Enough will be published in the U.K. by Transworld.
"I love writing Reacher but these stand-alone stories were a real delight for me—trying something different every time," said Child in a statement. "Period, place, nationality, personality, everything. It was liberating. And fun."
