OverDrive, Storytel Partner

OverDrive has reached a distribution agreement with the Swedish-based Storytel to offer more than 25,000 audiobook titles produced by Storytel to all libraries and schools in OverDrive’s global network.

The agreement between OverDrive and Storytel gives OverDrive the right to offer more than 25,000 audiobook titles produced by Storyside AB, Storytel Publishing NL, Storyside India and Kitab Sawti, to OverDrive’s 92,000 worldwide accounts. Titles will be made available to libraries and schools in more than 20 languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Marathi, and Hindi.

“We are excited to be entering into this partnership with OverDrive to offer our vast and diverse language catalogs,” said Stefanie Lamprinidi, head of catalog management expansion markets at Storytel.
