BISG Announces 2024 Industry Award Honorees

The Book Industry Study Group (BISG) will recognize Ingram chief commercial and content officer Phil Ollila, author Walter Mosley, and digital retailer Scribd with industry awards at its Annual Meeting in New York on April 12.

Ollila, who has spent 20 years at Ingram Content Group, will receive the Sally Dedecker Award for Lifetime Service, recognizing an individual who "has made a positive impact on the book publishing industry."

Mosley, the author of more than 60 books, will receive the Industry Champion Award, honoring an individual whose "efforts have advanced the publishing industry as a whole." 

Scribd, the global subscription business founded in 2007, will receive the Industry Innovator Award, which recognizes an organization or individual who "boldly reimagines what publishing is and can be."
