Frank Albanese to Oversee Supply Chain Operations at Abrams
Frank Albanese has been named senior v-p of supply chain at Abrams. In his expanded role, Albanese will lead the company’s production team in addition to his existing oversight of inventory, demand planning, and market analysis. The position, the publisher said, "orchestrates all supply chain efforts, from procurement and logistics to production and distribution."
Mary McAveney, Abrams president and CEO, added that Albanese will "synchronize critical operational facets, streamline processes, and bolster efficiency,” and that the appointment "will enhance agility, optimize performance, and strengthen the backbone of our business’s success."
Newly reporting to Albanese are Alison Gervais, director of production, and Sarah Masterson Hally, who has been promoted to associate director of production. In addition, Maggie Moore has been promoted to associate production manager, and Hayley Earnest to production associate.
"The genuine talent and dedication of the entire production team at Abrams is reflected in the quality and craftsmanship of our books," Albanese said in a statement. "I’m looking forward to working with this impressive group in their pivotal role in the success of our publishing."
