Emma Knight Launches Literary PR Firm

Emma Knight, former deputy communications manager and publicity director at Hachette UK's Hodder & Stoughton, has launched her own literary PR agency, Studio 49, which will provide book publicity services for authors, publishers, and agents.

Studio 49 is being set up alongside a sister company, Milk Publicity, which specializes in film and television PR. Together, they will "cross-pollinate ideas" from TV, film, and publishing, per a release.

Knight spent more than 20 years at Hodder & Stoughton, where she worked on all of David Nicholl's novels to date. She is a two-time winner of the overall Publicity Campaign of the Year award at the Nibbies, the U.K.'s main publishing awards.
