Bryn Clark to Join Little, Brown as Executive Editor
Bryn Clark will join Little, Brown as executive editor, effective September 3. She will report to Little, Brown president and publisher Sally Kim. Clark was most recently executive editor at Flatiron Books and editorial director of Moment of Lift Books, Melinda French Gates's Flatiron imprint.
At Flatiron, she published such titles as Pageboy by Elliot Page, What Happened to You? by Oprah Winfrey and Bruce Perry, Unbound by Tarana Burke, Somebody’s Daughter by Ashley C. Ford, Hiding in Plain Sight by Sarah Kendzior, and The Three Mothers by Anna Malaika Tubbs.
Clark's hiring comes just over a month after layoffs hit Little, Brown's editorial department, affecting seven staffers, including VP and deputy publisher Craig Young, VP and executive editor Tracy Sherrod, and senior editors Jean Garnett, Ben George, and Pronoy Sarkar.
