Frankfurt and Bologna Partner on Games Business Center

The Frankfurt Book Fair and Bologna Children’s Book Fair will team up to create a joint Games Business Center, integrating the two fairs' copyright businesses and expanding their existing TV, film, and licensing offerings. The center will create a space for gaming and publishing professionals to connect, with the aim of building new business opportunities between the two industries.

The inaugural Games Business Center will be featured at Frankfurt and Bologna's respective upcoming editions, slated for October 16-20, 2024 and March 31-April 3, 2025. Games professionals are welcome to visit the area.

"With the new games area, we are driving forward business with cross-genre adaptations," said Frankfurt Book Fair director Juergen Boos in a statement. "Thanks to the cooperation with Bologna, we will be offering the book industry a lucrative exchange with the creative industries twice a year from October onwards."
