Frankfurt Launches Digital Networking Platform
The Frankfurt Bookfair has launched Frankfurt Connect, a new digital platform offering tools to facilitate networking and content sharing for attendees. The platform offers presentation options for exhibitors, networking features for recommending and finding contacts, a digital business card for on-site networking, an interactive hall plan, and event listings. It is unclear if this platform will work in conjunction with or replace the Fair's robust app, which replicates several of the same features.
Juergen Boos, Director of Frankfurter Buchmesse, emphasized the platform's role in supporting international exchange, product presentation, and business relationship development. "From now on, we will also support all these wishes digitally: with Frankfurt Connect as the digital backbone for our community," Boos said.
