S&S to Distribute Perfect Bound Clients

Perfect Bound, a startup platform that enables publishers to solicit print jobs from printers worldwide, will partner with Simon & Schuster Client Services to offer distribution services to independent publishers using the Perfect Bound platform.

The platform currently serves such clients as Abrams, Authors Equity, Chronicle Books, Collective Book Studio, Gibbs Smith, She Writes Press, and others. 

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Simon & Schuster to open up global distribution to more independent publishers of all sizes,” said Keith Riegert, CEO of Perfect Bound and Ulysses Press, in a statment. “Finding economical and effective distribution as a fledgling publishing house has become increasingly difficult; and we are looking to provide a much-needed solution. Our house, Ulysses Press, has been a longtime client publisher at S&S, and I have admired how agile, innovative, and forward-thinking they are at selling books. They are the perfect distribution partner for Perfect Bound.”
