Dey Street to Publish Cher's Memoir

Dey Street Books, an imprint of the William Morrow Group at HarperCollins Publishers, will publish Cher: The Memoir, Part One, in the U.S. on November 19. The first installment of Cher's two-part memoir will cover her childhood and career up to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono. Cher: The Memoir, Part Two will follow in 2025.

Dey Street brokered the world rights deal with Alan Nevins at Renaissance Literary & Talent. The book has been edited and shepherded by Dey Street VP and publisher Carrie Thornton. It will also be published by HarperNonFiction in the UK, as well as by HarperCollins in Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, and Brazil.
