Lakeside Book Company to Install State-of-the-Art Printing Press

Lakeside Book Company, will install a new “state-of-the-art” manroland Goss Lithoman press at its 1.3 million-sq.-ft. printing plant in Willard, Ohio. The installation of the 64-page, four-color offset, wide web press, Lakeside said in a release, will result in 100 new jobs at the facility, which it has operated since 1956. It is expected to be operational within a year. The press, Lakeside added, will “enhance automation, setting a new standard for efficiency and sustainability, reducing waste, and minimizing environmental impact,” and “ensure color consistency throughout the printing process.”
