Fine Arts Work Center Announces Provincetown Fellowship Winners

The Fine Arts Work Center (FAWC) in Provincetown, Mass., unveiled its roster of twenty Writing and Visual Arts Fellows for the 2024-2025 season. The cohort of ten Writing Fellows includes Acie Clark, Kai Conradi, Jason Ferris, Kevin Fitchett, Parker Hobson, Jiaqi Kang, C. Mallon, Sara Martin, Lucas Martinez, and Matthew Wamser.

Fellows were selected from over 1,400 applicants representing nine countries. The seven-month residency, valued at approximately $50,000, provides Fellows with housing, workspaces, and a monthly stipend during outer Cape Cod's off-season. It is considered no-strings-attached, meaning there is no obligation to produce, perform, teach or otherwise act on behalf of the FAWC.

Founded in 1968 by a group of artists and writers including Robert Motherwell and Stanley Kunitz, FAWC has nurtured more than 1,000 emerging artists and writers throughout its history, the institution said.
