Jennifer Rudolph Walsh Opens Bookstore

Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, former head of worldwide literary at WME, has opened the Godmothers bookstore and event space in the small, affluent Santa Barbara, Calif., community of Summerland. Walsh cofounded Godmothers along with Victoria Jackson, a cosmetics entrepreneur. The bookstore hosted its grand opening on Saturday, September 7; the event was attended by Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, among others

"Godmothers is a local bookstore with a global dream," reads the store's About page. "We believe in our bones that authentic storytelling is the magic medicine we need to connect and heal our world. We are fiercely passionate and committed to bringing diverse people together to share stories, ideas, wisdom, treasures, and tools for transformation."
