BBF Announces Complete Programming

The Brooklyn Book Festival, slated for September 22-30, has announced its complete 2024 programming, with more than 140 events featuring nearly 500 authors. The festival comprises four components: 

  • Bookend Events, taking place September 22–30 in all five boroughs of the city and virtually
  • Virtual Festival Day, a full-day roster of online events featuring national and international authors on Sunday, September 22
  • Children’s Day on Saturday, September 28  at Brooklyn Commons in Downtown Brooklyn, a full day of events and activities specifically for young readers
  • Festival Day, the beloved flagship event, on Sunday, September 29 in Downtown Brooklyn’s Borough Hall area, which also features a literary marketplace

Featured Festival Day authors include Olivie Blake, Roz Chast, Edwidge Danticat, Saidiya Hartman, Hari Kunzru, R.O. Kwon, Lisa Ko, Kelly Link, Lorrie Moore, Emily Nussbaum, Lucy Sante, Brandon Taylor, and more.
