George Tattersfield Joins HBG as VP of Sales Ops

George Tattersfield will join Hachette Book Group, stepping into the newly created role of VP of sales operations, effective September 30. He will report to Lauren Monaco, EVP and group sales director at HBG.

Tattersfield most recently served as client director at W.W. Norton, which he joined in 2021. Prior to Norton, he spent 18 years at Ingram Content Group, where he played a key role in the development of the Guaranteed Availability Program to capture lost sales through Print on Demand services and was instrumental in establishing the Publisher Fulfillment Program, which ensured order fulfillment by partnering with publishers during the pandemic.
