Chris Dufault Takes on Expanded Role at KDPG

Chris Dufault has been named to the newly created role of SVP for publishing, sales, and operations strategy at Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group. He will report to Penguin Random House chief revenue officer Jaci Updike.

Dufault has held a variety of leadership positions in the sales and publishing departments of KDPG in the last decade, most recently as SVP for publishing and sales operations.

In this newly expanded role, Dufault will be also be responsible for sales strategy for KDPG lists and work with both the publishing teams and channel directors to build programs and initiatives. He will continue working closely with KDPG president and publisher Maya Mavjee.

Newly reporting to Dufault is Annie Schatz, director of imprint sales for KDPG.
