Flatiron to Publish New Book by Melinda French Gates

Flatiron will publish a new book by Melinda French Gates, The Next Day: Transitions, Change, and Moving Forward, on April 15, 2025. Macmillan publisher-at-large Will Schwalbe acquired and will edit the book.
Per a release, in the book Gates "will reflect, for the first time in print, on some of the most significant transitions in her own life, including becoming a parent, the death of a dear friend, and her departure from the Gates Foundation."
Gates published her debut book, The Moment of Lift, with Flatiron in 2019, and in 2021 she launched her own Flatiron imprint, Moment of Lift Books.
