Heather Fain to Join KDPG as SVP of Publishing, Marketing, and Backlist Strategy
Heather Fain will join the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group as SVP of publishing, marketing, and backlist strategy on October 30, reporting to Maya Mavjee, the group’s president and publisher. Fain will oversee the group’s marketing team as well as “all aspects of backlist marketing and publishing strategy” for the Vintage imprint.
Fain comes to KDPG from Pushkin Industries, where she was COO. Prior to Pushkin, she served as SVP of marketing strategy at Hachette Book Group and deputy publisher of Little, Brown and Company, among other roles.
Newly reporting to Heather Fain are Milena Brown, Julianne Clancy, Laura Crisp, Jess Deitcher, Julia Diaz-Young, Christine Hung, Judy Jacoby, Laura Keefe, and Beth Meister.
