Katherine Nintzel to Join Atria as VP, Editorial Director

Katherine Nintzel will join Atria Books as VP and editorial director, effective November 11. Nintzel comes to Atria, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, from the William Morrow Group, where she spent 20 years and most recently served as VP and editorial director of fiction for Mariner Books.

At Mariner, she published such books as Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline, The Guest List by Lucy Foley, The Last Romantics by Tara Conklin, Annie Bot by Sienna Greer, and Flight by Lynn Steger Strong, as well as authors such as Paula Hawkins, Kate Morton, and Benjamin Stevenson.

Reporting to Nintzel will be Kate Napolitano, editorial director of nonfiction; executive editors Kaitlin Olson, Laura Brown, and Emilia Rhodes; senior editors Loan Le and Melanie Iglesias Perez; editor Sean deLone; and associate editor Jade Hui.
