Catherine Richards Up at Minotaur
Catherine Richards has been promoted to VP at Minotaur Books, an imprint of the St. Martin’s Publishing Group, in addition to her role as editorial director, after seven years with the press following an eight-year stint at Pan Macmillan in the U.K. Going forward, Richards will “expand her acquiring acumen to commercial fiction at St. Martin's Press as well,” per Kelley Ragland, VP and publishing director at Minotaur, to whom Richards will continue to report.
“She is a valuable mentor to up-and-coming editors and a sharp reader, and she has become a crucial voice for shaping and guiding the future direction of Minotaur,” Ragland added. “We are thrilled that Catherine will continue to be such an important leader for Minotaur, as well as contribute in significant ways to St. Martin's Press going forward.”
