Chatwin Publishing Offers Affirming Free Poster to Bookstores

In response to post-election uncertainty in U.S. bookstores, Chatwin Publishing, an independent press headquartered in Seattle and affiliated with Asterism trade distribution, has designed a poster bearing the proclamation that “Light is always the answer to darkness.”

Chatwin will ship up to five free copies to bookstores upon request and has made a printable download available, said owner Phil Bevis. Stores in the Seattle area can pick up copies at Bevis's brick and mortar shop, Arundel Books, 322 1st Avenue South.

“It is important for all of us to remember that bookstores and the people that work in them bring light into people’s lives,” the Chatwin team wrote in a statement to booksellers. “You make a difference to people in your communities, helping them find solace on hard days. You, your bookstore, the works it holds, and the people who staff it matter.”
