Klopotek CEO Peter Karwowski Steps Down

The Klopotek Group, the international developer of publishing software, has announced that CEO Peter Karwowski has stepped down. Cheryll Beumer, portfolio manager at Valsoft, has been appointed interim CEO in addition to her current role. Beumer has worked closely with Klopotek and its management team since Valsoft's acquisition of Klopotek in 2023.

"In the coming months, we will evaluate the best leadership structure for Klopotek, considering both internal and external options," said Klopotek in a statement, "and will provide updates once a decision has been made."

"After nearly 30 years in the publishing industry, including the last 10 years at Klopotek, the time has come for me to start a new chapter in my life working outside the industry," said Karwowski, who has served as CEO since 2023. "While I am bidding farewell to publishing, I will remain closely connected to it."
