Transgender Law Center Organizes Spring Auction

The Transgender Law Center has announced the “Crime Writers for Trans Rights” auction, held between March 26 and April 1. The auction, which is timed to coincide with Trans Visibility Day on March 31, has drawn over 100 participating crime fiction writers alongside other authors, including Roxane Gay, David Balducci, Gillian Flynn, and Scott Turow.
The initiative was started by a group of crime fiction writers who were troubled by the “increasing restrictions on trans identities and the attempts to erase them,” per a press release. By bidding on select items such a signed books, author chats, manuscript evaluations, and more, the auction offers the chance to support the Transgender Law Center and its mission of trans advocacy.
