Bloomsbury Expects Record Fiscal 2025

In a financial update, U.K.-based Bloomsbury Publishing said it expects sales and profits in the fiscal year ended February 28 to exceed analysts’ projections, which called for revenue of £333.4 million and profit before taxation and highlighted items of £39.6 million.

The company attributed the improved financial performance to a strong second half of the year, which included the May acquisition of Rowman & Littlefield and another good showing from its consumer division, which has seen strong sales from Sarah J. Maas and other romantasy authors.

The publisher will provide more financial details and projections for fiscal 2026 on May 22.
