St. Martin’s to Publish Memoir by Joe Manchin

George Witte, editor-in-chief at St. Martin’s Press, acquired North American rights to Dead Center: In Defense of Common Sense by Senator Joe Manchin III from David Larabell at CAA. The memoir, which features a foreword by longtime American football coach Nick Saban, “combines eyebrow-raising, never-before-told stories from inside the Senate and the White House with insights into how government does—or doesn’t—work,” per the publisher, and is “built around Manchin’s Rules of the Road—a personal code forged through hard-earned lessons in life, business, and government.” Publication is set for September 16, 2025.
