2025 IBPA Book Award Finalists

The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) has named 177 finalists across 59 categories for this year’s IBPA Book Award, which honors independently published books.

Award categories span everything from Gift Book, Graphic Novel, and Cookbook, to Travel, Self-Help, and Education. As part of its 2024 rebrand, IBPA also introduced seven new categories focused on underrepresented communities: AAPI, Black/African American, Disabled, First Nations/Indigenous, Latina/o/e, LGBTQIA2+, and Neurodivergent.

The Collective Book Studio leads this year’s finalists with eight titles, alongside She Writes Press and Fast Company Press, with six and five finalist titles, respectively. Gold winners will be revealed on May 16, 2025, during the IBPA Book Award ceremony at the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront in Minnesota.
