Jorge Ramos' Book Releasing in March 2016
Award-winning news anchor Jorge Ramos, who recently went head-to-head with Donald Trump, is reflecting on his 30-year career in a new book entitled Take A Stand: Lessons from Rebels. Celebra, an imprint of Penguin Random House's Berkley Publishing Group, is publishing the book in English and Spanish on March 15, 2016.
Ramos, well known for his role as Univision’s lead news anchor since 1986, serves as the host of the weekly public affairs program, Al Punto. He is also an anchor for Fusion, a partnership between ABC and Univision, and writes a weekly column that is distributed by the New York Times Syndicate. Ramos recently made headlines after confronting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about his stance on immigration before being forcibly removed from the press conference.
In Take A Stand, Ramos will reflect on 30 years of interviews with people such as President Barack Obama, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Spike Lee, Barbara Walters, Fidel Castro and more. According to a press release, the book will offer a unique perspective on key issues affecting the world today, including concerns that influence Hispanics, the largest minority in the U.S. today.
