New Cookbook Heading for a Spin on 'Wheel of Fortune'
Cogin Inc. is hoping that a week-long run on 'Wheel of Fortune' will translate into big sales for its newest cookbook, Mr. Food Test Kitchen-Wheel of Fortune Collectible Cookbook.
The book, as the name implies, has been created with the cooperation of the long-running television game show that features Pat Sajak and Vanna White. To make the most of the connection to the show, in addition to more than 150 recipes, the cookbook features behind-the-scenes stories, fun facts and never-before-seen photos from Wheel of Fortune. Some of the recipes have been inspired by the show--such as Vanna Banana pudding--and others come from submissions from former Wheel of Fortune contestants.
During the telecast the week of December 14-21, Sajack and White will talk about different aspects of the book on each show. White also wrote the foreword to the book. Cogin, which is the book publishing arm of Mr. Food Test Kitchen, has set a 17,000-copy first printing for the title, which is being distributed by Midpoint Trade.
