Smashwords Expands Reach with Three New Partnerships
Following its distribution announcement with Gardners Books in October, Smashwords announced it has signed three new agreements that further expand the reach of the Smashwords e-book distribution network in the U.S., Europe, and South America. The partnerships include:
Tolino: Tolino powers the e-book stores of several of Germany's largest e-book retailers including Thalia, Welbild, Hugendubel, Der Club, Bücher.de, meine BUCHhandlung, eBook.de, derClub.de, and others.
Odilo: The agreement with Odilo expands Smashwords' library distribution to 2,100 libraries in 43 countries across Europe, Latin America and North America.
Yuzu: Smashwords' agreement with Yuzu brings Smashwords books to the higher education market. Yuzu is the digital education platform/retailer that is powered by Barnes & Noble College, which operates 473 college bookstores serving 5 million students and faculty members.
Smashwords books will begin appearing on these new partners' platforms during the first quarter of 2016.
