Pen and Brush Hosts a 'Literary Takeover'
Pen and Brush, a 122-year-old nonprofit arts organization, is hosting a six-week Literary Takeover where the words, quotes, poems, and writings by women will be presented and celebrated. The exhibit aims to challenge the status quo, including accepted perceptions of the literary canon, and will take place at Pen and Brush’s gallery.
Between January 25 and March 7, the Literary Takeover will feature events, panel discussions, readings and limited-run installations alongside both interactive and static presentations of words, ink, paper, books and other tangible components traditionally associated with literature and writing.
Established 122 years ago, Pen and Brush is an international nonprofit organization that showcases the work of female artists and writers.
