HarperCollins Italia has acquired 20lines, an app for iPhone and Android used globally that allows users to write, read and share short-format stories.
The app, used by over 40,000 authors and 220,000 readers, is available in seven languages and was named by Apple as one of "the Best Social Networking and Book Apps" in 96 countries.
