New Hires at Skyhorse
Skyhorse Publishing has hired six new employees in sales, editorial, and publicity. The new additions, which bring Skyhorse’s staff to 85, include senior editor Chris Evans who is charged with acquiring history, military, politics, and reference titles. Also in editorial, Chelsey Emmelhainz joins Skyhorse in acquisitions for both the Skyhorse and Arcade imprints.
Rounding out the rest of the new hires, Trish Manney joins the indie publisher as special sales manager, while Raul Padilla was tapped as assistant sales rep. Jill Lichtenstadter, who starts March 1, will be Skyhorse’s new national accounts manager; and Lauren Jackson joins Skyhorse as senior publicist.
Skyhorse publishes nearly a thousand books a year across 14 imprints.
