BISG Proposes Changes to YA, Teen BISACs

BISG and its Subject Codes Committee have proposed changes to the BISAC subject headings to allow for the classification of young adult and teen content.

The changes would affect those who assign or maintain subject codes or who support and manage metadata.

BISG is inviting its members to special meetings to hear details of the proposed changes and give feedback. There will be two meeting options: in person in New York City on the morning of March 13, 2015, or via a webcast on March 20. Click here for more information and to register for either option.
