Time Inc.'s Steve Keopp Retires, Kostya Kennedy Joins

Time Inc. and Time Inc. Books announced the retirement of editorial director Steve Koepp as well as the appointment of Kostya Kennedy as editorial director of Time Inc. Books’ bookazine program.

Kennedy moves to Time Inc.Books after 20 years with Sports Illustrated as assistant managing editor and senior writer. In his new position, Kennedy will be responsible for guiding Time Inc. Books’ bookazine program from concept to publication for several brands, including Time, Life, and People. He will report to Margot Schupf, publisher of Time Inc. Books, starting March 28. 

Koepp's retirement arrives after 35 years with Time Inc. His roles with the company included letters correspondent, deputy managing editor, executive editor, and finally editorial director.
