Touchstone to Publish Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups in U.S.

Touchstone will publish American adaptations of the U.K. publishing series Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups, a satirical series of self-help books, as Fireside Grown-Up Guides in 2016 and 2017. The series will serve as a "resurrection" of Simon & Schuster's self-help imprint Fireside, and will include titles such as The Fireside Grown-Up Guide to the Hangover, The Fireside Grown-Up Guide to The Husband, The Fireside Grown-Up Guide to The Mom, and The Fireside Grown-Up Guide to Mindfulness, all of which will publish on October 11. Matthew Benjamin acquired U.S. rights for the series from Sarah Scarlett, the international rights director of Penguin U.K., publisher of the Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups series.
