This week on More to Come, Calvin talks with coauthors Nic Watts and Sakina Karimjee about their graphic adaptation of C.L.R. James’s 1934 play, 'Toussaint Louverture: The Story of the Only Successful Slave Revolt in History', a companion to ‘Black Jacobins’, James’ classic history of the Haitian Revolution. They discuss researching, designing, and drawing the adaptation, and the challenges and rewards of presenting James’ great work of history and epic storytelling using comics.
