Continuing to expand its efforts in digital publishing and distribution, AOL Time Warner Book Group's AudioBooks division has launched a Web site for the sale of digital audiobooks. Earlier this year, Time Warner launched iPublish.com, which sells e-books, solicits manuscripts from its online writers' community and offers online learning resources.
Time Warner AudioBooks is now selling five digital audiobooks through www.mytimewarneraudio.com. Consumers can visit the site to purchase and download the titles at a 35% discount. The site offers more information on forthcoming digital audiobook releases as well as information on the future of digital audiobooks. The titles will also be offered through the iPublish.com site.
The five titles are Jack: Straight from the Gut by Jack Welch; Dot.Bomb: My Days and Nights as an Internet Goliath by J. David Kuo; A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks; An Open Heart: Practicing Compassion in Everyday Life by the Dalai Lama; and Patti's Pearls: Lessons in Living Genuinely, Joyfully, Generously by Patti LaBelle.
