The biennial Jerusalem International Book Fair has announced new dates for next year's event: June 23—27. The original schedule, which saw the fair open on the last day of March, conflicted with Bologna's Children's Book Fair and the traditional period of sales conferences in the German book trade.
Despite regional tension, business meetings continue to be held under next-to-normal conditions in Israel. The 21st fair, at which 1,200 exhibitors are expected from 60 nations, will feature a full round of international activities.
