More on the S&S front: the publisher is anticipating that its newest bestseller, Benjamin Franklin: An American Life by Walter Isaacson, will be as successful as its 2001 biography of John Adams. David McCullough's much lauded tome chalked up 48 weeks on PW's hardcover charts and hit the million-printing mark less than three months after pub date. The Franklin bio has already gone back to press seven times, for a total of 285,000 copies in print. According to the S&S folks, "It's the biggest nonfiction launch since Living History." Isaacson's media calendar is jam-packed through October.
