Part of the book's appeal, notes RH associate publicity director Sally Marvin, is its relevance to today's political climate. President Bush's trip to England the week of November 17 provided another publicity boost, with the media referring often to the "special relationship" between the two countries—a bond that harks back to these historic figures from opposite sides of the Atlantic.
