All-star sing along
Early works of rock music legend David Bowie are at the heart of Musical Storyland, a picture-book-with-CD set containing lyrics to songs that Bowie originally recorded between 1966 and 1970 for an album called Images, and illustrations by painter Jamilla Naji, who was originally inspired by Bowie's music. The high-energy tunes and fantastic imagery—man in the moon, "sugar horses painted red," "a happy land where only children live"—hold appeal for a broad range of ages, though some of the romantic images will be lost on little ones.
