Adriana Trigiani made her bestselling mark with tales of small town life in Lucia, Lucia and the Big Stone Gap trilogy. She's at it again in her latest bestseller,
The Queen of the Big Time, chronicling three generations of an Italian-American family in rural Pennsylvania. Trigiani is touring 13 cities this month and launched her tour with a Today Show appearance. Random House is airing commercials (on NBC, Bravo, Lifetime and Oxygen) based on footage of the author's grandmother, the inspiration for the titular "Queen." There are 98,000 copies in print after two trips to press.
