The Republican National Convention in New York wasn’t all protests, speeches and cops—it was also cause for several book-related panels. At the Time-Life Building, a dozen conservative authors spoke at a gathering sponsored by Bookspan’s American Compass book club. The day, called Books Done Right, included several panels examining the impact of conservative books on American politics and featured Georgia Democratic senator Zell Miller.
